Imphal, December 28 2019: Governor Dr Najma Heptulla celebrated Christmas and ad- vance New Year with orphan children at Raj Bhavan afternoon today.

Jointly organised by the Raj Bhavan and Social Welfare Department, the "Chil- dren's Christmas and New Year Carnival 2019" was celebrated with many playful events for the children.

Deputy Chief Minister Y Joykumar, Health Minister L Jayantakumar, Social Welfare Minister Nemcha Kipgen, CAF&PD Minister Karam Shyam, Youth Affairs & Sports Minister Letpao Haokip and Director General of Police LM Khaute attended the celebration.

At the event, Dr Najma Heptulla wished the children well and hoped for peace and harmony in the State in the coming years.
