KSO, Moreh Block expresses gratitude

Tengnoupal, August 28 2019: Kuki Students' Organization, Moreh Block has expressed profound gratitude to the Chief Minister and all the Cabinet Ministers for upgrading Moreh College to a full-fledged Govt College which is the first of its kind in Tengnoupal district, said a statement issued by President KSO, Moreh Block.

It maintained that the decision was a long cherished dreams of KSO Moreh Block in particular and students of Moreh and its surround areas in general.

It may be mentioned that Moreh being far from the State capital and located at strategic Indo-Myanmar border attracts lots of poor students from Moreh and nearby villages and most of them discontinue their studies after Class X and XII as they cannot afford travelling to Imphal or other towns to get admitted in Govt colleges there.

But the conversion of the Moreh College to a full-fledged Govt College fulfilled the dire need of the public and students community of Moreh and its adjoining villages, it added.
