Imp-Moreh road bandh

A 48-hour bandh has been called from 6 am tomorrow along Imphal-Moreh highway by the JAC constituted against killing of Md Rafique deman-ding arrest of the killers.
It may be recalled that Md Rafique (16) s/o Md Abdur Rashid of Sora Ching Wang-ma under Kakching police station was found dead on Feb 25 at around 4 pm at Hawairou Mairenban Khong-jao.
The body is still lying at JNIMS morgue after it was retrieved by Kakching police and deposited there for post-mortem examination.
The JAC said that they have submitted the name of suspects involved in the killing to the OC of Kakching PS and also sumbitted memorandum to the CM, but till now, no arrests has been made.
Students, fire service and water supply will be exempted from the purview of the bandh, according to a press release issued by the secretary of JAC against the killing of Md Rafique.
