Imphal, October 27 2015: Body of a man, suspected to be beaten to death, was found at Heirok Ingalok under Heirok PS, Thoubal district at around 2 pm today.

Police suspect the deceased to be one Ningthoujam Amarjeet (25) s/o Shyamo of Wangjing Tekcham.

Severe injury marks were seen on the head.

A team of police led by SDPO of Yairipok PS, S Hemanta retrieved the body and deposited it at JNIMS morgue.

A case has been registered at Heirok PS and investigation is on, police said.
