Imphal, March 26 2018: 15 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter IGAR (South) conducted two medical camps one each at Nongren and Achanbigai villages, Imphal East district.

On 26th March 2018 and provided medical assistance to the needy villagers.

A total of 123 males, 161 females and 80 children were checked and necessary treatment and medicine was provided by Regimental Medical Officer of the Battalion.

The village heads, Pradhans, youth and Meira Paibis praised the efforts of Assam Rifles for the compassionate effort provided by the force towards overall upliftment of medical health in the area.

The local populace requested Assam Rifles to continue organising such camps in future as well.
