MCI approves MD Sports Medicine in RIMS

Imphal, February 26 2020: Board of Governors of Medical Council of India (MCI) has permitted Regional Institute Of Medical Sciences (RIMS) to start MD, Sports Medicine from this year academic session, 2020-2021 .

It may be mention that RIMS is among the first few institute in the country to offer such course in Sports Medicine.

In this regard, Director of RIMS Prof A Santa said "The Course will greatly benefit the states of NE India especially Manipur as it is a Sports Powerhouse of the country" .
