Imphal, August 25 2011: In a writ petition of the Gauhati High Court it has been directed that final selection of primary teachers is to be completed within three months, Education Minister SS Thaisii today informed the Assembly in response to a question raised by MLA O Joy of MPP.

Responding to another question raised by MLA N Mangi, the Education Minister informed that House that the total number of primary and graduate teachers who have been provided arrear under State's ROP 2010 is 6,257 and the total amount sanctioned for the purpose was Rs 33,21,68,742 .
