Imphal, June 24 2016 : The Gov- ernment of India has introduced Income Declaration Scheme (IDS) 2016 for providing an opportunity to all the individu- als who have not declared their income correctly in the past.

Such persons are provided the opportunity to come forward and declare undisclosed in- come.

The scheme shall remain in force for a period of 4 months from June 1 to Sep- tember 30.Payments towards taxes, surcharge etc must be made by November 30. In order to cater informa- tion regarding the IDS 2016, the Income Tax Department, Old lambulane is organising an awareness programme on June 27 at Hotel Nirmala(fifth floor).

Individual who wishes to avail the opportunity can attend the programme.
