Imphal, April 24 2019: Bangladesh Khongjom Day Observation Committee observes Khongjom Day at Moulvibazar of Kamalganj district of Bangladesh yesterday.

Paying of floral tribute to the statue of Paona Brajabashi and recitation competition for students of the poem "Khongjom Tirtha" written by Nilbir Sharma Shashtri mark the occasion.

A discourse on the Khongjom Day was also held as a part of the observance ceremony.
