Imphal, March 24 2018: 15 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter IGAR (South) conducted two medical camps at Chingarem and Khabaisoi villages, Imphal West Dist under Operation Sadhbhavna and provided medical assistance to the needy villagers.

A total of 115 males, 286 females and 108 children were checked and necessary treatment and medicine was provided by Regimental Medical officer of Battalion.

The village heads, Pradhans, youth and Meira Paibis praised the efforts of Assam Rifles for the compassionate effort provided by the force towards overall upliftment of medical health in the area.

The local populace requested Assam Rifles to continue organising such camps in future as well.
