Imphal, January 24 2018: Manipur Students' Federation District Committee Jiribam today appealed girl students of class IX and above to wear Phanek as uniforms in school from the coming session 2018-19 onwards.

It has also appealed private schools and Government schools in the district to follow and enforced Phanek as uniforms for girl students (class IX- above) .
