AMHTA rebuffs State Govt order

Imphal, July 23 2011: All Manipur Hill Teachers' Association (AMHTA) has rebuffed Government's Order No 1/1/09-SE (S) PT, 8th July, 2011.The order sought information from DCs regarding constitution of SMCs for the schools of hill districts.

A press release said, the association had already rejected similar directive in the past and pleaded to review by submitting memorandum as well.

Urging the Govt to review the order AMHTA appealed the concerned ZEOs/DIs, and Headmasters not to comply with the order.

Appointing ADCs to the post of Chairmen of SMCs is nonsensical, it added.
