Imphal, November 22 2012: Local womenfolk of Moiranghanuba today staged a protest demonstration under the aegis of Moiranghanuba Chaokhat Khongthang Nupi Lup against the alleged molestation of a minor girl by one Chowkidar of Vocational Guide School.

Chowkidar Golmei (29) of Pantifun of Aramji Khul, Tera allegedly molested a minor girl reading in Nursery class on November 19 at the Vocational Guide School.

An FIR has been already registered at Lamphel police station in connection with the incident.

Mother of the victim who took part in the protest demonstration sought exemplary punishment as per the law of the land against the culprit.

The protesters put up placards which read as "Chowkidar of the Vocational Guide School is enemy of the mass", Men who harass girls are enemy of the public" etc.
