Imphal, February 22 2016: A single bench of Manipur High Court comprising Justice N Kotishwar today began argument hearing against MLA M Prithviraj's false affidavit case.

The argument hearing began today after completion of witness hearing on Friday.

The counsel of the petitioner deposed before the Court today.

The hearing will continue tomorrow.

An election petition case was filed against Parliamentary Secretary M Prithviraj by retired IAS officer, P Saratchandra in 2012 .

The petitioner said that M Prithviraj, elected from Moirang AC in the last Assembly election, had wrongfully mentioned his educational qualification in the election affidavit.
