AR commences Veterans Week

Imphal, January 22 2021: True to its ethos and spirit of being the 'Friends of Northeast People', troops of Assam Rifles conducted a festive rally for the veterans of Army and Assam Rifles residing in Kakching from yesterday.

The three day long rally is being conducted with the aim of connecting with the veterans and their families residing in Kakching.

The platform will also be used to address their grievances, disseminate information on present security aspects and various government schemes.

The Veterans Rally is in pursuance to ensuring every possible measure is undertaken by the Assam Rifles for the their well-being and cementing the association between Assam Rifles and its Veterans.
