Imphal, May 20 2021: In connection with the mysterious death of 18 years old bride to be on May 11 at her fiance's residence at Santhel Mamang Leikai, Mayang Imphal police have arrested the elder brother of the accused, today.

The elder brother of accused Md Saruk Khan, s/o Md Abdullah has been identified as Md Ibomcha (38) .

During the police interrogation, the accused Md Saruk Khan revealed that he along with his arrested elder brother and sister in law Sariful (29) destroyed the evidence.

However, Sariful w/o Md Ibomcha was released on health grounds.

It is reported that the accused Md Saruk Khan and his brother will be produced before the Court concerned of Thoubal on Friday.
