Imphal, April 20 2022: Governor La Ganesan visited Assam Rifles troops at Somsai and Chassad on April 19 and 20 respectively.

During his interaction with the troops, the Governor expressed his appreciation for their relentless efforts in maintaining peace and tranquility in the State.

He also complimented the force for their untiring efforts in the challenging and inhospitable conditions prevalent in the area.

The Governor also planted a tree sapling, spread awareness about the growing ecological concern and also expressed appreciation for the efforts of Assam Rifles in promoting the Go Green Initiative of the Government.
