Imphal, October 18 2012: The 52nd Gangpijang Chavang Anthak Lhun Kut was held today at Gangpijang village in Saikul sub-division with Sadar Hills ADC chairman Haokholal hangsing gracing the event as the chief guest.

In his brief address to the festival revellers, Haokholal hailed Kut festival as an occasion that binds the Kuki people.

Everyone celebrates Kut wherever he or she is and thus it signifies a binding force and encourages one to continue the tradition, he added.
