Imphal, May 18 2016: A team of officers led by the Director, IPR Meghachandra Kongbam today inspected the on-going construction of the office building of the Directorate of Information and ublic Relations at Keishampat, Imphal.

The construction of the first phase of the building was completed and that of second phase also almost completed.

On seeing the progress of the construction, the Director opined that after completion of the first and second phases, important media sections like News, Photo, Video and Publication cells etc of the DIPR will be shifted to the newly constructed building soon in phase manner.

It may be mentioned that the office building was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 812.41 lakh approved by Public Investment Board (PIB) on July 11, 2011 .
