Imphal, July 17 2015 : General Officer Commanding (GOC) Red Shield Division extended heartiest greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Rathyatra.

GOC urged the people to forget differences, shun violence and promote harmony and peaceful co-existence to provide conducive environment for the overall progress and development of the people and State.

IGAR (South) Major General VS Sreenivas and all ranks of Assam Rifles have also extended warm greetings and sincere goodwill to the people of Manipur on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

IGAR (South) conveyed his earnest message of peace, harmony and unity on this joyous occasion.

He said, "We wish that the goodwill and harmony will bring us all together irrespective of caste, colour, creed and faith" .
