Imphal, April 16 2020: Somsai Battalion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) distributed essential items to veer naris and ex-servicemen of Assam Rifles at Ukhrul on Wednesday.

The rations assistance provided were 5 kg of rice, 2 kg of dal, 1 kg of salt and 2 kg of sugar, said a statement of IGAR (S).

The ex-servicemen appreciated the humanitarian gesture of the Assam Rifles and expressed their heartfelt gratitude.

Assam Rifles assured its continuous support to the brave hearts who have dedicated their lives in service of this country.
