Imphal, December 01 2015: United Manipur Muslim Women Development Organisation, Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation and All Manipur Muslim Students' Organisation have expressed deep concern over not appointing new functionaries of Manipur State Minority Commission (MSMC) although the tenure of the former Chairperson and members had expired in March this year.

In a joint statement, the three organisations said that they had threatened the Government to launch an intense stir if a new Chairperson and members are not appointed within December 18 (Minorities Rights Day) .
