Thoubal, July 14 2015 : A three-year old girl child saved her family from a possible outbreak of fire by alerting her father at midnight yesterday, our correspondent reports.

Three-year old Soibam Yaiphathoi of Wangjing SK Leikai, Thoubal district woke her father when their bed started to catch fire from a candle that was lit earlier that night.

She is the first born daughter of Soibam Kumar Singh and Soibam (o) Valentina (Sana) Devi.
