Imphal, December 13 2012: The JAC against the brutal killing of Soubam (N) Lourembam (O) Memchoubi has today urged the Chief Minister to constitute a judicial enquiry into the killing of Memchoubi.

In a memorandum, the JAC also demanded the CM to arrest the criminal(s) involved in the killing of Memchoubi within seven days and take up legal action against the culprits.

The JAC warned of launching severe forms of agitation if the demands were not fulfilled immediately.

Memchoubi of Haobam Marak was found killed along Langol hill range on November 29 last.

Her dead body was disposed off by Government authority on December 4 as an unclaimed body.
