Imphal, July 13 2021: Ethno Heritage Council (HERICOUN) condoled the demise of Dr Yumnam Muhindro, founder president of Scheduled Tribe Demand Committee (STDCM) .

In a statement issued today, HERICOUn said that late Dr Yumnam Muhindro had dedicated his life for the betterment of Manipuri society and to leave a better Manipur than it was before, fighting to save the rights of the indigenous people.

He was also member of student federation and All Manipur Youth League during his student phase and also took part in Festival of World Youths and Students held at erstwhile East Germany in 1973 representing India on the global meet.
