Imphal, December 12 2024: Kuki militants resumed their offensive at Yaingangpokpi side today as they fired multiple rounds from Yaingangpokpi Uyokching, Thamnapokpi Uyokching and Sangaren Village towards Meetei villages in the adjacent areas.

The attack, which targeted Meeteis at Thamnapokpi, Yaingangpokpi and Shantikhongbal began at around 7.30 pm.

The village volunteers and security personnel also retaliated and the exchange of fire continued till around 9 pm intermittently.
