Accused remanded to judicial custody for alleged sexual assault on minor

Imphal, November 12 2021: Special Judge POCSO Imphal East rejected the bail application of a 54 year old man and remanded him into judicial custody till November 26 for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor and threatening the minor with his licensed gun.

The accused was arrested after the father of the minor lodged a complaint to Women Police Station Imphal East on November 10 stating that his minor daughter was allegedly assaulted by the accused at his residence located at Minuthong on November 1 and 2 .
