Imphal, October 12 2024: Eastern Kala Acadami on Friday inaugurated the "Festival of Thang-Ta (Martial Arts) with Special Focus on Thangbi Sakok Sading" .

The Festival of Thang-Ta, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, aims to revitalise & preserve the unique martial art, said a release issued by Eastern Kala Acadami.

The purpose of the festival is to provide structured training for aspiring artists, offering them the skill and knowledge necessary to master & promote this nearly forgotten art form.

The festival will continue till November 9, 2024 .
