Imphal, February 12 2016 : IGP Range (I) Clay Khongsai today launched a public-police WhatsApp group at a simple function held at the conference hall of Imphal East district police headquarters.

Clay Khongsai said that the group would help to bridge the communication gap between public and police and bring the two entities closer.

It would also help resolving difficulties related to police and public in the State.

Clay Khongsai was the chief guest of the launching function attended by Imphal East SP Angam Kamei Ro-manus, Additional SP (Operations) Singhajit, Additional SP (Law and Order) Manjit, SDPOs and OCs of different police stations, community leaders and social workers.
