Imphal, December 11 2015 : Delhi Association of Manipur Muslim Students, New Delhi observed International Human Rights Day under the theme, 'Manipur Muslim and human rights violation' at Delhi University park yesterday.

Research scholar Md Chengiz Khan while speaking at the observation highlighted various human rights violations in Manipur due to AFSPA, communal violence and bureaucratic dominance.

He also stressed on the need to impart awareness on human rights by civil society organisations.

Other speakers mentioned the need for ending mob justice and corruption.
