IPRJDC to impose indefinite blockade along Imphal-Pangei Road from Dec 17

Imphal, December 10 2024: The Imphal Pangei Road Joint Development Committee (IPRJDC) is set to impose an indefinite blockade along the Imphal-Pangei Road from December 17 onwards.

According to a press release issued by Salam Ibopishak, convener, IPRJDC, the step was taken as a result of the State Government's inaction and lack of positive feedback despite repeated appeals from the Committee to repair the Imphal-Pangei Road.

The decision to shut down the route was taken during a meeting held on December 8, as per the release.
