Imphal, November 10 2012: Expressing dissatisfaction over the alleged negligence of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University-Regional Campus Manipur in the functioning of the Varsity, a joint meeting of various tribal students' organisations today decided to launch agitation if the basic requirements of the University are not fulfilled by the authority concerned by November 18 .

The joint meeting of the tribal student organisations, convened by IGNTUSU was held today at Adimjati Complex, Chingmeirong.

Representatives of ATSFM, ZSUM, TKS, MUTSU and TSA were present in the meeting, according to a statement issued by the general secretary of IGNTUSU, KT Lalnihring.

The meeting resolved to appeal the University authority to materialise the MoU signed between the VC and students of the university on October 24, 2011 .

It further noted that the demands and proposals of the students regarding co-curricular activities and other requirements have not been upto the expectation of the students.
