Imphal, December 08 2012: A sit-in-protest was staged today at Changangei market in denunciation against the brutal murder of Lourembam Memchoubi at Langol Hills.

Demanding arrest of the perpetrators involved in the murder, the protesters held placards that read as, 'We condemn Memchoubi's killing', 'Stop violence against women', 'Book the culprits at the earliest' .

Memchoubi of Haobam Marak Lourembam Leikai was found murdered with her slit throat at Langol Hill on November 30 last.
