30,000 fingerlings released in Thoubal River under PMMSY

Thoubal, August 08 2024: Thirty thousand fish fingerlings were released in the Thoubal River under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) today.

According to a statement issued by Kshetrileikai Apunba Semgat Sagat Lup (KASSL), the ranching of fish fingerlings in rivers of Manipur was sponsored by the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad and implemented by the Department of Fishery, Government of Manipur.

Staff of District Fishery Office Thoubal and Kshetrileikai Apunba Semgat Sagat Lup were present at the release of fish fingerlings at the foot of Thoubal Kshetrileikai bridge along the Thoubal River.
