Imphal, May 08 2022:
While condemning hike of petroleum and LPG prices twice in a month, CPI Manipur State Council said the party will not accept arbitrary increase of prices of petroleum and cooking gas within such a short period.
According to a statement of CPI Manipur-State Council, fresh hiking of LPG rate by Rs 50 per refilled cylinder has pushed its actual price to Rs 1214.90 now and such a policy is akin to asking the poor people to stop using cooking gas and find alternative sources of cooking like charcoal and wood.
