Kakching, December 06 2024: Social Upliftment Society, Manipur (SUS) distributed various winter crops seeds to farmers today at Kakching.

The seed distribution ceremony held at the office of Social Upliftment Society, Manipur was graced by Moirangthem Tijendra, Assistant Agriculture Officer as chief guest and Yengkhom Nilachandra, president of SUS, Kakching as president.

As part of the event, an awareness session was also conducted to educate the farmers on the techniques of farming and how to prevent the crops from being affected by pests or diseases.

Later, seeds of onion, cabbage, pulses, tomatoes were distributed to the farmers free of cost.
