Imphal, June 06 2019: One Nongmaithem Mohen (37) s/o (L) Modhu of Koirengei Uram Mapal was killed in a road mishap along Imphal-Dimapur road, at Parsain village near Keithelmanbi cemetery, under Kangpokpi PS yesterday.

According to the elder brother of the deceased, the incident occurred at around 4 pm yesterday when the deceased along with two of his friends, were coming towards Imphal from Dimapur in a car when it met with an accident while trying to steer clear of a pothole near Parsain village.

Nongmaithem Mohen died on the spot while the two other occupants sustained injuries and were evacuated to CHC Hospital, Kangpokpi.
