Imphal, May 06 2015 : The ten-day theatre workshop which was organized by the Manipur University Students Union (MUSU) from April 27 concluded today at the Centenary Hall, Manipur University, Canchipur.The workshop was conducted to develop and promote theatre art.

Students from different colleges including that of the University took part in the ten-day long workshop.

Prominent theatre personalities like Kishorjit, Premchand, Bobby, Loken, Sheityajit and Khogen conducted the workshop.

Certificates were presented to 45 students who took part in the workshop.

Registrar of MU, Prof N Lokendra attended the closing function as the chief guest while Prof IS Kangjam was the guest of honour and president of MUSU S David was the functional president.

A play titled 'Kalimai Puja' was also staged during the closing function.

The play was directed by Sheityajit.
