RIMS under MCI scanner

Imphal, September 05 2014 :
A team of the Medical Council of India (MCI) is currently making an assessment of RIMS with regard to allowing the institution carry on Undergraduate courses.
The MCI started the assessment camp today and it would continue till September 6 .
RIMS is given permission for running Undergraduate courses for a period of five years.
The current term of five years is expiring soon and the MCI team is assessing the institution with a view to extend the term of recognition for a period of another five years.
The MCI team is particularly assessing the infrastructure and teaching staff required and available at RIMS for running Undergraduate courses.
