Imphal, March 05 2014 : A 7-kilometre long inter village road ring-road in Saikul hill town area has been formally dedicated to the people by Saikul AC MLA Yamthong Haokip.

The ring-road dedication function accompanied by benediction prayer and unveiling of stone was held today at the town's bus parking.

It is said that development of the ring-road connecting a number of villages in Saikul AC with the town started in January 2012 under funding from the Special Plan Assistance and local area development fund of the MLA.

Yamthong also inaugurated a 2 km long Pangjang to molkon village road, which has been constructed under SPA funding.
