Imphal, November 04 2015: The Meitei Nationalist Party (MNP) has condemned the statement made by BJP Manipur in-charge Prahlad Patel on November 2 terming it a false promise made to harness vote of the people.

The BJP Manipur in-charge had said his party would constitute an inquiry into the scams of the State Government if it wins the by-poll in the two A/Cs.

A statement issued by MNP president B Angousana said Prahlad Patel's statement also translates that no enquiry would be conducted if BJP losses in the upcoming by-polls.

Calling the statement made by the BJP in-charge a false promise to harness votes, Angousana alleged that same statement was made in 2014 by Prakash Javedkar.
