Imphal, September 04 2014: "I extend my warm greetings to the people of Manipur especially the members of the teaching community on the Teachers' Day 2014', said a message of the Governor of Manipur.

"This day is celebrated across the country in memory of Dr S Radhakrishnan, a renowned educationist, scholar and a former President of India on his birth anniversary.

"Once again, I greet and congratulate the esteemed members of the teaching community on the occasion of Teachers' Day, 2014 and I have no doubt that they will continue to strive to provide their services with more dedication and devotion", it concluded.
