Free medical camp at Suangdai

Imphal, May 03 2019: To promote good health and healthy Manipur, Singngat Battalion under the aegis of Churachandpur SECTOR, Assam Rifles organised a one day free medical camp at Suangdai.

Village Suangdai is 1 km away from the India Myanmar border and the infrastructure in terms of Public Health Clinic is not available .

Singhat Battalion under the aegis of Churachandpur Sector organised this medical camp to carry out free medical cal checkup and also create awareness amongst the people about their health.

Medical Officers from the Battalion took part in the Camp wherein a total of 177 villagers including 20 from Twelkhang and Kolnoi in Myanmar were benefitted from the Camp.

Tea and refreshments were served post completion.

People thanked the Company Commander at Suangdai and saluted the spirit of Assam Rifles.
