Imphal, November 02 2013 :
Possession, sale and use of crackers in the ensuing Diwali festival banned within the jurisdiction of Im-phal East.
According to a statement issued by the SP (Imphal East), Kamei Angam Romanus, the ban has been imposed as crackers contain dan- gerous and hazardous chemical which can also ignite or explode spontaneously when mixed with combustible material.
