Imphal, August 02 2024: The Special Judge of NIA Manipur on Friday rejected the bail application filed by Seiminlun Gangte who is an accused in the Kwakta blast case.

A culvert/ bridge located at the adjoining area of Phougaokchao Ikhai Awang Leikai and Kwakta was damaged in the explosion which was triggered by a bomb-fitted Mahindra Scorpio SUV on June 21, 2023 .

The bail petition was filed by the Mangsi Gangte, wife of Seiminlun Gangte @ Minlun (41) on May 21 .
