Imphal, November 01 2024: A new body called the "Urup Salanpham Makha Village Protection Committee" was constituted today in a function held at Urup Chingya Leikai.

The function was presided over by MMWO HQ secretary general Khutheibam Wadia Hassan.

The committee was constituted under the aegis of MMWO HQ to prevent antisocial activities including drug abuse and violence against women & children in the area.
