Imphal, February 01, 2013: Two poachers were apprehended today by Forest Guards while they were dressing the carcass of a Sangai inside Keibul Lamjao National Park.

According to an official of the Forest Department, two poachers were dressing a Sangai after killing it on the Sargam side of the National Park when they were apprehended by the park's security guards.

The apprehended poachers have been identified as Laishram Kripa of Thanga Khunjem and Heisnam Lukhoi of Thanga Heisnam.

Both of them have been handed over to Moirang police station.

One large sickle was seized from their possession.
