Ukhrul, June 30 2015 : 48 years old Jugeshwor Konthoujam who has been charged with the rape and murder of KA Shanti of Ramrei village was produced at CJM Court, Ukhrul today where his judicial remand was extended for another seven days, Mungchan Zimik reports.

Jugeshwor was booked in connection with the case on June 25 this year.

The CJM Court, Ukhrul has granted judicial remand for another seven days for further inquiry and investigation into the case.

The accused is yet to confess to the crime, sources said.
