Imphal, March 31 2012: Unidentified male dead body of a non-local aged around 43 was found lying at Kalibari near eastern gate of Devalaya Mandir, Thangal Bazar on March 28 .

According to OC of City Police Station, the dead body is lying at RIMS Mortuary for identification.

A case has also been registered at City Police Station.

Meanwhile, a person in unconscious state (due to excessive drinking) was found at the Northern side of Punsi Keithel, Imphal, according to OC of City PS.

The man was evacuated to RIMSH, Lamphel for medical treatment but expired at around 3pm today.

He was said to be in his late 40s with fair complexion.

He seems to be a Meitei, it said.
