Jiri people warn JMC

Blaming the Jiribam Municipality Council (JMC) for continuous apathy on public issues mainly on the place of selling pork and chicken meats, a public meeting on Thursday at the residence of elected member of Kalinagar ward no.2 Lebio Rongmei, has set a deadline of fifteen days to look into the matter.
It has been said that EO of JMC Th Harikumar was repeatedly urged to manage the place of pork and chicken meat selling place in a proper way to avoid unwanted pollution.
Many Hindus of Jiribam have avoided passing the route on seeing animal blood which runs through the road, said Hamom Dhoni Meetei.
Further blaming the JMC for being against Narendra Modi's Swacch Bharat Mission, the public meeting set a deadline of fifteen days starting Thursday to manage a proper place for the said inconvenience to the public.
